Dr. Clare Eugster MVB

Clare is originally from Switzerland and lived there until she was 11. She then moved to Louisburgh, her mother's hometown. 

She qualified from UCD in 2012, after which she completed a year in farm practice in Co. Fermanagh, followed by a year in mixed practice in Kilkenny. She moved back to Mayo in 2014 and has practiced solely as a companion animal vet since then.

Clare has a particular interest in geriatric care, osteoarthritis and chronic pain. She completed a course in Veterinary Accupuncture in 2023. She plans to complete am ECAS Certificate in Western Veterinary Accupuncture and Chronic Pain over the next two years. 

Clare loves dogs, cats and rabbits and has a farm at home wih cattle and sheep. 

In her spare time you'll find her practicing yoga, walking her dog's Florence, Rosie and Lily on the beach, cuddling her two cats, Venus and Mandrake, running or climbing a mountain usually in some far-flung distant land!
