Vaccinations

We offer a full range of vaccinations for dogs, cats and rabbits.

Puppies, kittens and unvaccinated dogs and cats will receive a primary course followed by yearly vaccines in all pets.

We immunise dogs against Distemper, Parvovirus, Infectious Canine Hepatitis and  Leptospirosis and Canine Cough (Bordatella/Parainfluenza)

Cats can be immunised against Panleucopaenia, Feline Calicivirus and Feline Herpesvirus Type 1 ( most commonly recognised as Cat Flu) and Feline Leukaemia Virus.

Rabbits immunisations cover Myxomatosis and Viral Haemorrhagic Disease (Classic and Variant Type 2 Strains)

NEUTERING

Neutering, which has the obvious benefit of preventing unwanted pregnancies, has other benefits which you may be unaware of.

In females it prevents cancer and infection of the uterus and ovaries.

In males it can decrease incidences of aggression and marking and other unsociable traits as well as preventing testicular cancer.

Unneutered cats are at a very high risk of developing Feline Aids (FIV) and Feline Leukaemia Virus (FeLV).

A litter of puppies or kittens require lots of hard work and attention, but they may also require more of a financial commitment than you bargained for.

Neutering is a routine surgical day procedure, and we aim to make it as pain free as possible. We use a special anaesthetic that provides very little to no post-operative hangover, high levels of pain relief both during and after surgery and the surgery is done in a sterile, specially designated operating theatre.

You can rest assured that your pet will receive the highest standard of care and plenty of TLC throughout the day!

MICROCHIPPING/PET IDENTIFICATION

Microchipping can help to reunite you with your pet if they are lost or stolen**.

It is as small as a grain of rice injected under the skin. It is a very quick procedure and can be carried out by our team of Vet Nurses.

Microchipping is now a legal requirement for all dogs in Ireland and for all pets travelling outside of Ireland.

We can also provide your pet with an EU Pet Passport if you are planning travel within an EU country.

**Please note a Microchip is not an active tracking device.

NURSE CLINICS

Our experienced team of Registered Veterinary Nurses can see your pet for suture Clinics, Nail Clips and Weight Clinics. They will be on hand to provide you with advice on your pets nutrition, behaviour and wellbeing.
